Welcome to the eCommerce Project website provided by Opportunity Florida and Chipola Regional Workforce Development Board.

This program was designed to make simple, affordable eCommerce websites available to small businessses in Opportunity Florida's eight county region. If you are a small business that has no need for a large, expensive website, you may use this program to display and optionally sell your products online, and the cost is only $80.00 per year!

Here is a list of the features your website will have:

Your website will have it's own "dot com" name (also known as a domain name).
You will be able to choose from several basic website designs. Pick the one that suits you best.
You will have the option to customize the template you choose with a 'theme' picture of your own, should you choose to do so, for a one-time additional charge of $ 25.00.
Like all websites, your website will have a Home Page. This is the first page a visitor will see when they visit your website. You will be able to add text and two pictures to your Home Page if you choose to do so.
Your website will have two other pages, which you can use for almost anything you want. Some businesses may want an "About Us" page, and others might choose to have a page that is titled "Our Location". You will be able to add text and two photos to each of these two pages.
Last but certainly not least, your website will be able to tell visitors about the products your business offers. If you choose to do so, you can add pictures of your products, and even give visitors the option to buy your products online using any major credit card. (To offer this option, you will need to have a free business account at PayPal, the company that handles the credit card processing. Setting up a PayPal account is quick and easy, so don't let that scare you off.

To participate, you will be asked to sign the following Special Statement of Agreement to participate in this program.

Terms of Use

1.All dot.com names (domain names) are owned and are the property of the individual or business signing on to the program.  The fees for registering the name are included in the annual fee paid to Opportunity Florida.

2.Hosting fees for each year are also included in the annual fee paid to Opportunity Florida.

3.Although the template itself can not be changed once selected, the site template’s content and copy can be revised (at no additional cost) as often as desired by the individual or business on line by way of the program’s automated system.

4.The site templates and automated system are owned by Opportunity Florida, with the copyright also owned by Opportunity Florida.  The templates are integrated into the program’s automated system and can only be used by individuals and businesses participating in the program.

5.As required by the grant, an automated email quarterly report must be completed by the participating individual or business.  This report is intended only as a measure of success of the program by monitoring the program’s sales and performance.  Each report will be automatically emailed to the individual or business and can be completed on-line.  The report must be emailed back within 45 days of the email.  This report is only used by Opportunity Florida as an evaluation tool.  No information on this report will be available to any other entities.

6.Only one photo can be used to customize any of the existing templates, and there is a one time fee of $25 to do so.

7.Any and all ecommerce participants are also encouraged to build a one page web presence on the Opportunity Florida website free of charge.

8.All participants selecting the store template realize and accept that the entity being utilized in the sales transaction is Pay Pal.  The ‘store’ participant must accept and abide by all terms of the Pay Pal agreement.  Opportunity Florida has no agreement or participation with Pay Pal, other than providing the connection to Pay Pal.

At the end of the signup process, you will be able to pay for your first year ($80) with any major credit card. If at any time during the signup process you change your mind, you are not obligated to finish. Take a look, and see if this will work for you!
